The process flow of treating products in a scraper-type sandblasting room - Many people are very familiar with sandblasting rooms. In fact, sandblasting rooms are very simple. It is just to build a room, fix the inside with rubber and the bottom can recycle the abrasive. There is a sandblaster outside, and the operator inside uses the sandblaster to shoot the abrasive at the surface the workpiece at high speed to form a certain roughness, thereby improving the adhesion of the coating and extending the service life of the workpiece! Theblasting treatment process is roughly divided into five steps: pre-control, abrasive control, tool control, condition control, and quality control. Here are the details of control:
1. Pre-control Before sandblasting in the scraper-type sandblasting room, the surface of the workpiece must be carefully inspected, and attached objects such as welding slag and splash must be removed. The surface oil and soluble contaminants must also be cleaned. Sandblasting treatment can only be carried out a clean surface.
2. Tool control During the sandblasting operation in the scraper-type sandblasting room, the air pressure of the air compressor is6.0x105~6.5x105Pa, and the pressure change is 0.5x105~1.x105Pa. The air pressure of the sand bucket is generally 4.5x105~5.5x105Pa and it must not be less than 4.0x105Pa. Before sandblasting, it should be checked whether the manufacturer of the pressure has a production license issued by the relevant department, whether the protective equipment worn by the sandblaster, the safety belt (rope), and the oxygen supply are reliable, and whether the nozzle is worn. If the diameter of the nozzle increases by 25%, the nozzle should be replaced.
3. Condition control the scraper-type sandblasting room The compressed air used in the sandblasting room must be treated with a cold device and an oil-water separator to ensure is dry and oil-free. The oil-water separator must be cleaned regularly. The distance between the nozzle and the surface of the base steel should be 100~300mm, and the non-sandblasting parts should be shielded before sandblasting. The angle between the spraying direction and the normal line the base steel surface should be 15°~30°. If it rains or the surface of the base steel becomes damp before the next process afterblasting, the environment must reach the construction conditions before proceeding. The surface should be dried with dry compressed air before construction. If it needs to be sandbl again, the abrasive requirements cannot be reduced to avoid lowering the roughness.
4. Abrasive control in the scraper-type sandblasting room The sand used rust removal in the mobile sandblasting room should be hard, angular, dry, and free of soil and other impurities. Quartz sand is the best, coarse river sand can also be used. The transportation conditions of the sand, the price, and the recovery ability should also be considered. The particle size of the should be 0.5~1.5mm. It should be dried before screening and stored in a shed or indoors. The screen holes are large: coarse screen has 40~48 holes/cm² (particle size 1.2mm), and the fine screen has 372~46 holes/cm² (particle size 0.3mm). Once the rust removal plan is determined, the abrasive can be river sand, quartz sand, or a of both. In the reinforcement of the Gangnan Reservoir, it was found that a 1:1 mixture of quartz sand and river sand worked best for removal.
5. Quality control in the scraper-type sandblasting room After the sandblasting room has completed its work, the sandblasted parts should thoroughly inspected, and the surface of the base steel should be checked.
